Make time to Stretch- Exercises You Can Do From Home

Stretching is important for maintaining flexibility and range of motion, both of which are necessary for a healthy body.

Stretching can also help to reduce the risk of injury and muscle soreness, and can also help to improve posture, reduce stress, and increase energy levels. Stretching can also help to increase circulation, improve balance, and reduce recovery time after exercise.

My advice for starting a home stretching routine?

1. Start slowly. If you are new to stretching, start with a few basic stretches and gradually add more as you become more comfortable.

2. Warm up before stretching. Warming up helps to prepare your body for stretching and can help to reduce the risk of injury.

3. Focus on breathing. Take deep breaths while stretching to help relax your muscles and mind.

4. Don‘t bounce. Bouncing while stretching can cause muscle strain and should be avoided.

5. Stretch to the point of tension. Stretch until you feel tension, but don‘t push past the point of discomfort.

6. Hold each stretch for 1030 seconds. This will help to increase flexibility and range of motion.

7. Stretch all major muscle groups. Make sure to stretch all the major muscle groups, including the legs, shoulders, arms, and back.

8. Be consistent. To get the most benefit from stretching, try to do it at least 3 times a week.
